Aunties’ Work: The Power of Care, curated by Nadia Bunyan, is a tribute to the matriarchal support systems in Montreal’s Black communities. The exhibit sheds light on the role of the women known as aunties. It runs at Montreal’s McCord Stewart Museum until Feb. 1, 2026.
