A 30-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing in Iqaluit last week.

Police say the victim was allegedly stabbed “multiple times” by two men, outside Arctic Ventures on Jan. 15, just after 8 p.m.

They say the 33-year-old man suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say they arrested the suspect on Tuesday and he has since been charged with aggravated assault.

They say officers have also identified a second suspect but gave no details.

The investigation remains ongoing.
