To celebrate the Road to the Junos and Juno Awards coming to Hamilton this year, CBC Hamilton has teamed up with CBC Music to bring you the chance to win exciting live music tickets. 

To enter, tell us about a memorable Hamilton music moment: A show you'll never forget, a Hamilton band or musician you saw in their early days, or a local music venue that made you fall in love with the city or the music scene.

We want to hear how music influenced your view of this city, how the music scene left an impression on you, or how a moment here shaped your own relationship with music.

A total of four (4) prize sets are available to be won, with each set consisting of two (2) tickets to a live musical show taking place between Jan. 22 and Feb. 7, 2026 at a venue in Hamilton. The  shows will feature local artists and will run in advance of the 2026  Juno Awards, being held in Hamilton on March 29. The tickets will be for one of six featured shows detailed below, to be determined by CBC.

  • Redhill Valleys at Bridgeworks, with support from Ginger St. James, on Jan. 22.
  • Cadence Weapon at Bridgeworks, with support from Danny Miles, on Jan. 23.
  • Whitehorse at Bridgeworks, with support from Julianna Riolino, on Jan. 24.
  • Classical showcase at L.R. Wilson Concert Hall, featuring Shoshana Telner, Leana Rutt, Stephen Sitarski and Emma Rush, on Jan. 25.
  • Cam Kahin at Mills Hardware, with support from Aoife, on Feb. 6.
  • Terra Lightfoot at Mills Hardware, with support from Logan Staats, on Feb. 7.

Selected potential winners will be notified by 5 p.m. ET on Jan. 19, 2026.

No purchase necessary. Contest is from Jan. 12, 2026 at 04:00 a.m. ET to Jan. 18, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Open to Canadian residents over the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of the Contest opening date. One of four (4) sets of two (2) tickets to a live musical show to be won, estimated value CDN$30.00 each, total value of CDN$120.00. Odds of winning depend on number of entries. Mathematical skill testing question required.
