Winnipeg is famous for producing world-class curling teams, and for being an incredibly generous city. The Rock the River Winter Festival (previously Ironman Outdoor Curling Bonspiel) combines both, as an outdoor curling bonspiel held in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation and KidSport Manitoba. Curlers of all abilities and experience levels are welcome to participate.

This event takes place on February 6-8 at the Redboine Boat Club, located at 20 Churchill Drive in Winnipeg.

Proudly sponsored by CBC Manitoba, the festival will feature a competing CBC team and a special livestream event on Saturday, February 7. Join us at 12:05 p.m. to watch the Canada vs. Estonia Olympic mixed doubles curling game.

Want to enter a team? Register here by January 31, or come down to cheer on the teams. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, along with plenty of entertaining curling – at both Olympic and recreational calibres – to watch!
