Introducing Sault Weekly: your new community newsletter from CBC

There’s something new coming to inboxes across Sault Ste. Marie. Starting this month, CBC is launching Sault Weekly, a brand new email newsletter that delivers the most engaging local stories, photos, videos, and moments from across the community, curated by our very own Saultite Alex Flood.

For years, Alex has been in the community covering stories that matter to Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding area. Now, his weekly newsletter will offer a deeper look into the people, issues, and events that matter most to you in your neighbourhood. He’ll pull together the biggest stories of the week and a round-up of moments that capture life in Sault Ste. Marie and deliver them right to your inbox. Sault Weekly is part of CBC’s local service expansion, an outreach initiative highlighting a commitment to strengthening local reporting, bringing trusted CBC storytelling closer to more communities in Ontario, amplifying diverse voices, and connecting Saultites to local stories that matter.
